FAQs

Do I need to make an appointment or call ahead before dropping off donations?

Nope! If your items are on our Accepted list, you can bring them right to _______during our normal donation hours () and drop them off right in the studio. If you have a large load and need a hand, just let us know, and we’d be happy to help you unload.

I have an item that isn’t on your “Yes” or “No” list. Can I bring it?

If you have a unique, creative material and aren’t sure if we can use it, please shoot us an email at scrapsandsparks@gmail.com before bringing it by! We have limited space, so we want to make sure we can truly give your items a second life before you make the trip.

Can I get a receipt for my taxes?

Yes, absolutely! Scraps & Sparks is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Every time you donate materials or funds, a tax receipt is available upon request.

How much do the materials cost?

Our mission is to keep creativity affordable, so our items are priced at a deep discount compared to big-box craft stores. We keep our prices as low as possible so that everyone can access the tools they need for self-care and expression.

Do you accept returns?

Because all of our inventory is generously donated by the community, all sales at Scraps & Sparks are final. Thank you for supporting our environmental mission!

Do I need to bring my own supplies to a class?

No! One of the best parts about Scraps & Sparks is that our classes utilize our incredible inventory of donated materials. Unless a specific workshop description asks you to bring a personal item to work on, we provide everything you need.
